SpawnPoint - Where Game Begins

So My friend Peter has finally been laid to rest...

At a very well attended ceremony last Wednesday we cremated my  friend at the local crematorium.

I was surprised at how busy the place was as Peter didn't have a massive circle of friends. A lot of work colleagues old and new came to pay their last respects. I hadn't seen a few of them in years.

His two boys bore up extremely well throughout the whole proceedings with only a few tears when we carried the coffin out of the parlour and again when the curtains closed at the crematorium :(

Following the ceremony we spent a fair bit of time reminiscing about him and telling funny stories over a bite to eat and a few beers (always drink responsibly).

I'm feeling fairly "settled" about the whole affair now although it's still fairly strange driving to and from work on my own.....

We received a letter from his mother on Monday which showed us how much he cared for us and how he'd always be talking about us when he went to visit. I've laminated it and stuck it on the staff notice board for all to see.
